A: Yes and no. The iPod is designed can't be open but with proper tool, it can. We do have the tool that is included in the iPod battery replacement ket.

Q: What will happen to my music files if my battery died on me? A: Nothing is going to happen. You simply replace the battery and you will be able to listen to your music again. Apple is using a hard drive to store all of your music files. If the battery is gone, your files are stored in the hard drive.
